Affiliation with Learn to Earn
The association with LtE creates a vehicle for accountability, ensuring that a high standard of implementation and outcomes is maintained. The model guarantees that the initiative remains with FCD as the member organisation and hence we remain autonomous however we receive wider support on implementation and delivery. The Learn to Earn (LtE) Association model was adopted, believing that the importance of holistic human development principles, if understood and implemented, will contribute to the eradication of poverty, facilitation of job creation and the ensuring of sustainable economic development of unemployed people and local communities.
We give thanks for the immense support we receive from our many partners, supporters and donors.
We are grateful to the following corporates, foundations, local government and trusts for
partnering with us over the past year:
CoCtN training (via LtE),
Jumpstart Program (Mr Price Foundation),
Rotary Club Tygerberg,
The National Lottery,
True South Actuaries.
Local churches continued to support FCD financially, in providing resources and in prayer. These relationships also resulted in individuals getting involved. The following churches were particularly involved:
Protea Valley Church,
Durbanville Community Church,
Durbanville Presbyterian Church.
There a many individuals who have generously contributed time and funds to our work,
we thank each and every one of you.
