Our Theme for 2021
The FCD team consists of a small group of staff members, interns and part time trainers who look after the day to day operational activities.
We are reminded that, like the Ephesians Paul was writing to in Ephesians 2 vs 10: “We (and our students, volunteers and partners) are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do”.
Our permanent staff
Jane manages the facility with wisdom and gentleness ensuring that training goals and objectives are met, while developing relationships with partners and seeking funding to ensure the ongoing continuity of the centre.
Chantelle is responsible for FCD marketing, events and developing new and nurturing existing relationships with volunteers and partners.
Cheryl is primarily responsible for the efficient running of all the training courses, overseeing the facilitation of the training by trainers and volunteers.
Rene is primarily responsible for the efficient running of all FCD’s finances.
Unita is our primary support officer. She supports all staff in day to day administration but works directly with Head of Marketing.
Nonka is our head PC trainer. She trains all office basics classes as well as PC skills to our job readiness students.
Chanell is our life skills champion, she fills the training gaps and supports the administration around her role.
Siba focuses mostly on PC skills training for our Job Readiness and Office Basics classes.
