Wow! What an amazing evening we had at the Want Ons Kan / Cause We Can Concert last Sunday evening. The concert provided an evening of an outstanding variety and high quality entertainment by  a host of top South African performers, made ever so sweet by the knowledge that we’d sold 202 tickets to our loyal supporters and donors – raising R52000.

Bakers from our previous Bake for Profit classes were invited to participate in the event and cater for the tuck shop. They too were thrilled to go home with a profit of R1485 in their pockets.
A huge thanks goes to our chairperson, Linda Oosthuisen, for tirelessly promoting this event and ensuring that we maximise this opportunity to raise funds for our upcoming Frail Care course.
We are also extremely grateful to each individual who supported this event and to Willowbridge Shopping Centre and Mark who sponsored gifts to thank the artists.
And lastly, we recognise that none of this would have been possible without the JURGEN HUMAN en MARGIT MEYER-RÖDENBECK,  HENNIE VAN GREUNEN, PEDRO KRUGER, The Tygerburger, their sponsors and the artists who so generously gave the best of themselves to this worthy cause. We salute you!
