The course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills required for an entry level office assistant, a receptionist or call centre agent.
Successful completion of Job Readiness Programme and Work Experience training. Passing an Office Basics pre-registration assessment of Basic Computer literacy, typing speed and business communication skills.
10 weeks-Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4pm.
Call Centre training: Introduction to call centres, The call opening, Acknowledging the caller, Transitioning a call, Probing, Setting expectations, Resolving problems, Closing the call.
Office practice, Including: Reception, dealing with customer enquiries, maintaining office equipment, sending and receiving mail.
PC skills: PC skills required for the Call Centre, plus Intermediary MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Access & Outlook Practicals, MS Office Assignments to demonstrate ability to implement knowledge acquired during PC skills training.
CV preparation, interview skills, work ethics.
Reception duties and admin duties rotated amongst learners.
A 3 day Job Shadow / work experience training for candidates who successfully pass the interview and assessment at the end of the programme.
